Travel by bus in the first-class cabin from Colombia’s capital city to San Agustin, the home of exquisitely preserved pre-Columbian sites spread across nearby reserves and parks. Book your return trip in equal first-class comfort.
$ 58.00
Come on board to the first-class cabin for a nighttime trip to the amazing UNESCO World Heritage site of San Agustín! Your seats on the Navette XL are limited to 14 lucky passengers, recline up to 140 degrees, and have more leg and elbow room than the seats on the coach-class deck. The cabin also has a bathroom, free wi-fi, and air conditioning (although we recommend bringing a blanket as sometimes the A/C grows too chilly). Seats have individual entertainment screens, and electrical outlets for plugging in your devices.
For your safety and security, the trip is staffed by two drivers who rotate being at the wheel, and personal attendants to answer your needs or questions on the way.
When you wake up in the morning, look outside your window to see the exotic landscape of the Neiva Valley as you wind your way into the foothills of San Agustín. You’ll arrive in time for a late breakfast or an early lunch, and the town will have all its services operational to help you get to your hotel or restock your pack with supplies, cash, or snacks.
San Agustín is a land where ancient history and natural beauty converge to create a travel experience like no other. Nestled in the heart of south-central Colombia, this enchanting destination invites you to immerse yourself in a world of mystery and wonder.
Come encounter the largest collection of religious monuments and megalithic sculptures in South America. As you wander through the lush green landscapes, you’ll come across over 500 statues, some standing tall and proud, others half-buried, whispering tales of a bygone civilization. The archaeological park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an inviting place where you can explore its secrets, from enigmatic stone carvings to impressive tombs that have stood the test of time.
Nature enthusiasts will find solace in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds San Agustín. The Magdalena River, Colombia’s longest, winds its way through the region, offering opportunities for rafting and adventure against the stunning backdrop of the Andes mountain sierra that has plenty of trails you can hike through to get panoramic views.
The local Huila cuisine and traditional festivals and events offer a glimpse into the heart of Colombian life, filled with music, dance, and celebration.
Experience the magic of San Agustín, where history, nature, and culture come together to create an unforgettable journey. Let the spirit of this extraordinary place captivate your heart and soul, leaving you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
