About the tour
Head out for a beautiful day of gentle hiking on the west coast of the island, at the El Tepual trail of Chiloé National Park.
El Tepual is 1.7-mile (2.7 km) interpretive loop trail that requires only 45 minutes to complete. On the trail you will learn about the Valdivian type of forest, with trees like coigües, copihues and the evergreen tepú, and end at a gorgeous viewpoint that overlooks Lake Cucao.
We finish the hike with a complimentary local lunch in Cucao (vegetarian option included). On the way back, we stop in Chonchi to see La Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario, the iconic church given world heritage status by UNESCO.
You are returned to your hotel by 5:00 p.m.
Included are all transportation, lunch, and an English-speaking guide
